Job Title: Manager, Security (APAC)

We are seeking an experienced Regional Security Manager to join our dynamic team. The incumbent serves as the senior most security executive in the Asia Pacific region with accountabilities for the identification, development, implementation, and management of the organization’s global security risk strategies and related programs across all SC Johnson business units and regionally based Headquarters operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides security goals, planning, implementation strategies and support to local, country, and regional management.
- Develops and implements policies, procedures, standards, training and methods for identifying and protecting employees, brands, facilities, information, and other assets from assault, theft, tampering, unauthorized disclosure, and other risks.
- Plans, develops and implements security protocol measurements in terms of effectiveness, cost, maintenance and alignment with global security goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders, including executive leaders, regional teams, and in-market personnel.
- Investigates loss, theft, fraud, and other incidents as needed.
- Leadership role in regional crisis management and other regional teams and committees as appropriate.
- Collects and analyzes intelligence to anticipate significant risks and trends which can impact employees, operations, and other assets.
- Maintains relationships with in-country governments, law enforcement, intelligence assets and international security agencies.
- Provide security oversight and management of operations for SCJ events on and off-site.
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
- University Degree
- 7 plus years’ experience with a corporate security department in a regional role or supporting a regional role.
- English speaking and writing required and Mandarin speaking and writing preferred.
- CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner)
- CPP (Certified Protection Professional)
- Experience in conducting investigations in multiple countries.
- Knowledge and experience conducting assessments to align to CTPAT and/or TAPA standards.
- Knowledge of security systems design and installation.
- Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design/CPTED knowledge required.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- SAP knowledge preferred
- Ability to travel to regional operations, high risk locations, meetings, and on little notice.
- Requires approximately 40% travel.
