Job description

Accountable to manage overall site security system to be up and running 24/7, investigation and plans mitigations of company risk, service provider competency and quality monitoring, assist security head in departmental strategy and growth. In your new role you will:

  • Accountable to manage overall security command centre / supply chain / crisis management to all blocks in IFX plus its surrounding area.
  • Manage and provide effective leadership to the Sec Investigations & System team including coaching and mentoring to all subordinate inline with succession planning.
  • Assist the Security Head in undertaking various tasks in accordance with the mandatory requirements implementing security as a core business function to be adopted by the whole MAL.
  • Conduct investigations on reported cases or detected and provide conclusion, implement corrective and preventive action to ensure no reoccurrence with statistics trending.
  • Weekly review and challenge status quo to optimize and gain higher efficiency without increasing cost and jeopardizing security operations as part of improvement and NLoPG.
  • Develop, implement and revise as necessary, contingency, emergency and continuation of operations plans in response to emergencies or disasters by establishing, maintaining and reviewing security documentation (SOP / formats / checklist).
  • Teaming up with other departments in investigation SIR cases year on year plus undertake special assignments and ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when required.
  • Conduct risk assessment and market checks to ensure security measures and systems at sites are updated with latest market trends and technologies.
  • Strategies and lead on enforcement to curb disciplinary and unhealthy issues with fast decision making and develop and maintain good working relationships with local law enforcement authorities.
  • Prepare the annual operations budget and ensure that all expenses are accounted for within the approved budget.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Security or related courses.
  • Sound security knowledge with good observation skills to mitigate risk.
  • Data driven decision making skills.
  • Demonstrate and live up to high performance behaviour and leadership principles.
  • Good investigation, interpersonal & leadership skills.
  • Great presentation, management and coaching skills.
  • Good knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process.
  • Ability to collaborate, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery.
  • Ability to anticipate risks, challenges and resolve them quickly.
