Functional (job responsibilities)

  • To ensure prompt and complete self-assessments for all business units within RWM.
  • To ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting by business units within RWM, where required.
  • To ensure timely reporting and escalation of Compliance issues or incidences to management.
  • To assist with the coordination of any regulatory information requests, including meetings and audits.
  • To work closely with RWM Compliance to ensure all relevant new legislation and regulation applicable to all business units within RWM is implemented in a timely manner.

Risk Management

  • Work closely with respective RWM Departments for implementing effective risk management process of risk identification, assessment and measurement, acceptance and monitoring to reduce gross operational risk exposure to acceptable levels within the risk appetite.
  • Review and validate RCSA and control testing, results and exceptions arising thereof.
  • Identify material exceptions and escalate.
  • Agree on actions arising from the corrective action plan.

Incident and System Management

  • Investigate, document and report operational losses, other risk events and treatment plans in partnership with Unit/ Line Managers.
  • Facilitate timely reporting.
  • Oversee administration of Operational Risk Management Information System (ORMIS) within respective business / function department.
  • Provide support and assistance to ORMIS users within business / function department.

Education/Qualification

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in any field.
  • Candidates with experience in Banking, Insurance or Sales related fields are preferred.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in audit & compliance with an added advantage.
