Job Description
This role will lead and develop a high-performing team of research analysts, driving operational excellence through optimizing research methodologies, data analysis, and resource allocation. This role focuses on ensuring the successful, on-time delivery of high-quality research deliverables while fostering continuous development and improvement within the team.
- Develop and lead a high-performing team of Research Operations analysts, ensuring strong expertise in research methodologies, data analysis, and process optimization. Foster a culture of rigorous research execution, critical thinking, and continuous improvement, enabling the team to deliver high-quality deliverables across various research projects efficiently.
- Development and implementation of capabilities decision matrix to optimize resource allocation and drive continuous development, ensuring the team’s skills evolve to meet changing business demands and support high-quality research delivery.
- Successful, on-time delivery of high-quality, highly relevant, and differentiated research projects that provide essential elements for syndicated & consulting research projects across sectors. Creation, documentation, standardization, training, and support for business workflows and process maps.
- Partnering with members of the Research & Data sectors to plan, coordinate, and execute syndicated & consulting research deliverables, ensuring seamless integration and consistent delivery of high-impact insights.
- Collaborate with the Research & Analytics Management team to define and execute a clear team strategy, focusing on recruitment, development, engagement, and training to maximize individual strengths and address areas for growth.
- Partner with Operations Management to evolve and refine operational processes, optimizing quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in research execution and delivery. Monitor and assess key KPIs to ensure alignment with business goals.
Qualifications
- Expertise in the Technology, Media, and Telecoms (TMT) sector, with a strong understanding of market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills – influencing, aligning, and driving collaboration across research, data, and technical teams while mentoring and guiding best practices.
- Deep knowledge of market research methodologies and data analysis techniques, with experience in synthesizing data into meaningful insights.
- Experience in performance measurement and resource management, including setting KPIs, tracking team productivity, workload balancing, and capacity planning to optimize efficiency.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
