Responsibilities:
- Establish an independent quality system for PART-147 compliance.
- Develop and implement quality audit programs.
- Propose and ensure corrective actions are completed efficiently.
- Address non-compliance issues with relevant managers and escalate unresolved discrepancies to the Accountable Manager.
- Amend and notify changes to the Exposition and manuals.
- Perform audits on subcontractors or training providers, ensuring compliance with CAAM requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, ensure corrective actions meet standards, and address findings from external audits.
- Conduct quality assessments for training authorization holders and auditors.
- Act as the point of contact with CAAM on Maintenance Training Organization requirements.
- Serve as secretary and member of the Annual Review meeting.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the superior.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of aviation experience, with at least 2 years in quality management or a related role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CAAM regulations, specifically Part 147 and quality management systems (QMS).
- Familiarity with auditing processes and standards, including ISO 9001 or equivalent certifications.
- A degree in aviation, engineering, quality management or any related field, or CAAM AML B1 or B2 certification is preferred.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing quality systems and audit programs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to propose and oversee corrective actions.
- Proficiency in using audit tools and software for quality monitoring and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage documentation and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with CAAM, management, and training teams.
- Proficiency in English, with exceptional report-writing and presentation skills.
