Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the quality and R&D department, ensuring food manufacturing processes for dairy/milk products (UHT, Pasteurized, Retort) are safe from raw intake to packaging.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, conduct internal audits, and collaborate with regulatory bodies, customers, and suppliers.
Develop and implement quality policies, lead external and internal audits, and resolve quality-related issues.
Test, research, and develop new products, ingredients, and processes to improve flavor, texture, and nutritional value.
Analyze product data, prepare quality reports, and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
Train employees on quality standards, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and troubleshooting quality problems.
Ensure accurate specification and management of raw materials, aligning with company and safety standards.
Requirements:
Degree in Food Science/Technology or related field.
10+ years in dairy/milk food manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards (ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, HALAL, GMP, MESTI).
Excellent communication skills and passion for food safety & quality.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in quality issues.
Ability to manage food safety standards and regulatory compliance for both local and overseas markets.
Experience in conducting audits and resolving quality-related problems.
