Job Summary:

The VP/MS Modeler is responsible for developing new products into the Virtual Product/Modelling System (VP/MS) according to Actuarial/Pricing requirements. This role involves maintaining existing products within the VP/MS model, supporting Unit Test (UT) and Mass Unit Test (MUT), and rectifying User Acceptance Test (UAT) defects reported by testers. The VP/MS Modeler must understand the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to keep up with project timelines and responsibilities. Additionally, they will investigate production issues and deploy fixes as needed, following solutions provided by senior team members. The role also includes preparing sign-off documentation for UT, MUT, and Regression Test (RT).

Job Description:

• Develop new products into Virtual Product/ Modelling System (VP/MS) according to Actuarial/Pricing requirements.
• Maintain existing products inside Product/ Modelling System VP/MS model.
• Responsible on Test Suites, support Unit Test (UT) and Mass Unit Test (MUT).
• Rectify, analyze and fix User Acceptance Test (UAT) defects reported by tester.
• Understand the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to catchup with project timeline and responsibilities.
• Investigate production issues and deploy the fix (if required) following solution provided by seniors.
• Prepare Unit Test (UT) / Mass Unit Test (MUT) /Regression Test (RT) sign-off documentation.
• Resolve technical and operational issues as required.

Job Specification:

• At least Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering/Information technology from a recognized institute.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management of medium to large scale projects.
