Manager, Logistic.

Job Summary:
Manages transportation and distribution operations, supports DC process planning, assists with presentations and special projects, contributes to team development, and ensures operational efficiency by reducing costs, inventory issues, and maintaining productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage logistic management – oversee transportation & distribution network.
2. Assist immediate superior in planning, organizing, and managing daily, weekly, and monthly processes, assignments, duties, and tasks.
3. Oversee receiving, put away, storage, picking, sorting, allocation, checking, and loading departments.
4. Support immediate superior with any daily, weekly, monthly, or ad hoc requirements for presentations, meetings, assignments, tasks, or special projects.
5. Assist in developing the team’s human resource capabilities while ensuring a sound, safe & secure work environment.
6. Ensure that Distribution Centre operational workflow aligns with productivity aspirations and achievable operational targets by reducing operational costs, inventory shrinkage, overtime costs, and maintenance expenses.
7. Perform any other related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

• At least 3 years as Assistant Manager in a Distribution Centre, with experience in fresh/ambient/dry/frozen environments from warehousing, distribution, or retail businesses.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.

• Strong project management and analytical skills.

• Ability to demonstrate discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.

• Effective communication skills with customers, employees, and stakeholders.
