This role will be leading a team of HR in handling payroll, staff benefits and HR information systems. You are also expected to propose, plan and execute HR strategy with the HR Director in the areas of compensation & benefit and overall HR practices. As subject matter expert, you will also advise the HR Director and Management in respect to changes in employment act (and related) of the country and manage the implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
The Manager will be the gate keeper in the timeliness and accuracy of employee related payments (including annual cycles). It is a primary role to review these payments and keep a systematic cycle to this. In day-to-day operations, the Manager will lead and supervise the HR Services members in managing and completing HR processes and systems to expected timeline and accuracy level.
Managing multiple levels of stakeholders. Most regular will be store operations where HRS is the primary contact in HR matters with store managers in handling new hires, regular and resigned employees. As relevant to your responsibility, you will take lead in discussions and conclusions with other Department Managers, Directors and Management to achieve HR and Company goals.
As subject matter expert, you will take lead in keeping up with employment regulations of the country and then advise Management, execute relevant course of actions. You will attend to latest trends in HR practices which may influence our position as employer of choice for high talents and retail. You are also empowered to represent the Company in attending to Government labor officers and internal regulators (meetings/audits/visits).
As a HR strategist, you will work with HR Director, Global HR, other HR Managers, Management and other Departments in the annual and midterm plans/projects to achieve company mid-long-term goal. This includes review of hygiene factors, including necessary frameworks, specific schemes to targeted groups and systems to be in place.
Key Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or any relevant area.
Minimum 7 years working experiences in overall HR management with strong knowledge of Employment Act. Retail HR experience and expatriate management will be an added advantage.
At least 2 years’ experience in managing a team. Passionate in nurturing and mentoring young members in being a HR subject matter expert.
Eye for detail and accuracy driven. Excellent advance and complex Excel skills and good analytical skills.
