  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts for properties investment companies, provision of inter group services companies, investment holdings companies incorporated in Labuan, and dormant companies (collectively referred to as “GFA – Companies”).
  • Serve as the primary liaison with auditors for year-end audits of GFA-Companies.
    • Review and prepare all necessary schedules and documentation for auditors.
    • Verify inter-company balances and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and prepare budgets for GFA-Companies, ensuring comprehensive monitoring and adherence to budgetary constraints. Implement strategies to address discrepancies and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Review, streamline, and implement the Group’s financial processes, procedures, and systems within GFA-Companies.
  • Liaise with banks, regulatory authorities and government legislation bodies.
  • Draft and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Group.
  • Assist with the consolidation of group accounts by;
    • Gathering necessary data and preparing supporting schedules, including deferred tax and tax provisions.
    • Ensuring proper elimination of inter-company balances and transactions.
    • Liaising with subsidiaries to gather required information for accurate consolidation.
  • Coordinate with subsidiaries for year-end audits and facilitate the annual budget preparation process.
  • Conduct monthly monitoring of submissions from subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements and addressing any discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field, recognized by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
  • Candidates with professional certificates such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in group consolidation.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, good leadership skills, and self-motivation.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
