Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the annual Group Corporate Assurance (GCA) budget and planning based on a set of formulated review strategies and business risks of the Divisions.
- Assess and execute the assigned audit portfolios in accordance with the GCA review strategies, as well as special investigations and/or confidential reviews, including guiding and coaching team members in meeting the expected deliverables.
- Review and ensure all issues and recommendations are of the highest standards, appropriately profiled and effectively communicated with the internal stakeholders and Regional GCA Head.
- Ensure effective closure of all issues reviewed and reported and re-assess Management responses to GCA recommendations for effective and timely implementation of the agreed action plan.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to clarify business and operational issues and provide consultancy support and value-added recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain good and effective relationships and liaison with internal stakeholders and external auditors to keep updated with the developments in the Division and leverage on each other for an effective and efficient review effort.
- Keeping abreast with professional development and regulatory requirements to contribute towards enhancement of GCA methodology and global best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields Accounting/Finance or Professional Qualifications e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIA, etc. would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in internal audit/risk management experience with an international accounting firm or large MNCs experience. Preferably with team leading/supervisory role of at least 3 years.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving, persuasion skills and demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, auditing tools and data analytics skills.
