Manager, Governance, Assurance & Financial Solutions

Governance
Lead the governance unit and ensuring the overall governance of PLMM is efficiently and effectively implemented in accordance with external regulatory compliance obligations and internal constitutional and liaison with internal and external auditors.

Enforce the implementation of applicable PETRONAS procedures and guidelines and affect the compliance to statutory and legislative requirements to ensure conformance to the established Limits of Authority (LOA) to safeguard PETRONAS interest, image, and reputation and lead the LOA enhancement to align with current PLMM and Group requirements.

Assurance
Lead the planning activities, review and approve the assessment done by Lead Assessor on the effectiveness of design and implementation of controls via MyAssurance.

Ensure the implementation and compliance of business process, administration, and related compliance assurance activities with an aim to provide effective and value-added services to PLMM.

Drive and ensures a positive culture of compliance by monitoring the implementation of good financial governance practices as required by various stakeholders to ensure the ability of the company to attest on the integrity of its financial practices and processes.

Financial Solutions

Lead liquidity management to optimize working capital requirement and dividend repatriation and involve in business planning, forecast and overall financial strategy of the Company in order to achieve business and company goals.

Advisory role for financial solutions as business partner to ensure PLMM strategy are executed in compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements such as accounting standards and not limited to Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards, International Accounting Standards, Companies Act 2016, General Accounting Principles, PETRONAS Group Accounting Principles and Guidelines.

Review and analyse any corporate and indirect tax related matter and will liaise with Group Tax to ensure the submission of Annual Tax return, monthly tax provision, tax payment and etc on timely manner.
