The Opportunity:
As the Global Procurement Manager, you will report directly to the Senior Director, Global Procurement, and will be assigned certain Logistics categories, strategies and projects to manage positive outcomes.
This includes assisting in or directly managing the development of category management, category strategies, region roadmap, cost saving initiatives and global/regional sourcing projects with a focus on Logistics across Mattel.
Key Logistics include, but are not limited to, finished goods movements from plants and partners to the Mattel’s global distribution network. This includes consolidation centers, distribution centers/3PL, drayage, outbound transportation, and other Logistic supporting services. Additionally, the role supports the development of total cost supply chain strategies and partners closely with key Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance and Product Sourcing stakeholders at various management levels.
This role serves as a Thought Leader and executional driver in the APAC region. This role ensures that Mattel’s APAC supply chain not only delivers sustained cost leadership and service excellence but also strengthens our competitive position through accelerated speed to market, supply chain resilience, and proactive enablement of growth strategies across diverse markets.
This role can either be based in Malaysia, Melbourne, or Vietnam depending on the chosen talent's location.
