Job Responsibilities

Payment Processing

• Ensure all invoice and claim payments, including submitted invoices and claims, are accurate before they are reviewed and approved
• Process and execute payments to both local and foreign vendors in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Ensure all Remittance Application Forms (RAFs) are accurately prepared before submitting for review and approval
• Prepare and submit RAF and CP37 Withholding Tax forms for foreign vendors, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and timely processing

GL/JV

• Ensure all journal entries are accurate and properly documented before posting
• Regularly review and reconcile GL accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness

Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly Reporting:

• Ensure the accuracy of all self-billed e-invoices submitted to the IRBM for foreign payments, minimizing errors and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
• Conduct detailed reviews of all reconciliations and GLC reports to ensure they are free from errors before submission
• Ensure all documents submitted to auditors are accurate and respond correctly to auditors' queries
• Perform thorough checks on RSCA reports to maintain high accuracy standards.

Job Requirements

• Degree/Certification in Accounting, Finance, ACCA or equivalent
• Possess sound knowledge of AP related matters for e.g. WHT, reverse charge on imported services
• Minimum 3 years in similar position in financial service industry
