Manager, Facility

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm

Salary Range: Up to MYR10,000 per month

Contract Duration: 1 Year Contract (With possibility to convert to Permanent)

We are looking for a talent to oversee and manage maintenance of the facility, ensuring business as usual, meeting legal requirements, health & safety standards, and handling administrative activities.

Note: 5 working days at the office are required and might extend during the weekend during the setup phase.

Your tasks will be in these areas:

• Schedule and supervise maintenance repair work and assist with checking installation and servicing building equipment.
• Ensure that the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
• Monitor activities that happen outside the building, such as proper waste disposal and recycling, managing parking facilities, and ensuring space.
• Recommend maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design, setup, and layout modifications. Oversee refurbishments and renovations.
• Plan the best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings or reorganizing current ones.

Requirements

Education & Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-8 years direct experience in Administration, Facility Management, or the Financial Services Industry.

• Influencing skills: Ability to effectively influence & motivate others and work in diverse teams with multiple stakeholders.
• Creative problem-solving skills: Tact and diplomacy when dealing with difficult situations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Collaborative approach for resolving issues with markets & peers/sub-process areas with stakeholders at different management levels.
• High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
