MANAGER - ESG & SUSTAINABILITY

M K Land Holdings Berhad is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager - ESG & Sustainability to join our team. As a key member of our Environment & Sustainability team, you will lead, manage, coordinate, execute and implement the Company's/Group's ESG and sustainability agenda ensuring full compliance with regulatory/statutory requirements and guidelines and ensuring execution of the ESG and sustainability plan and agenda.

What you'll be doing

1. Lead, develop, manage, implement and review Sustainability strategies that support ESG objectives of the Company.
2. Collect, collate, compile and analyse Group/Company-wide data and information in respect of ESG and Sustainability initiatives or programs and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Provide management with relevant analysis, reports and recommendations in pursuance of compliance and implementation of the Group's/Company's ESG and sustainability related agenda and matters.
4. Coordinate and lead data collection, analysis, reporting and overall management in respect of ESG and Sustainability requirements by relevant authorities and ensure full compliance.
5. Support business performance by coordinating with all departments/divisions or subsidiaries to strive towards embedding sustainability in organizational culture and in business operations.
6. Manage sustainability culture transformation by communicating sustainability initiatives or info to all employees to increase awareness and to strive towards compliance and alignment of KPIs.
7. Strengthen partnership by establishing a strong network with sustainability practitioners, professionals, consultants, government agencies and regulatory bodies; and conduct research on current sustainability-related policies, best practices and technology.
8. Manage Sustainability performance and reporting by liaising closely with relevant departments/divisions or subsidiaries within the Group of Companies in the compilation and verification of data, and to present the info and findings in the Sustainability Report or any such other reports required by the relevant authorities or under any law or regulations.
9. To carry out and execute any whatsoever instructions of the Management and Board of Directors from time to time.

What we're looking for

1. A Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability consulting or a similar role, preferably within the real estate or property development industry
3. Proven track record in developing and implementing successful ESG strategies and programs
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
6. Proficiency in using sustainability-related software and data analysis tools
