About the Role

The Manager - Digital will be responsible for leading, developing and enhancing digital marketing strategies and digital channel marketing campaigns, ensuring these strategies address business requirements, and generate best possible returns. The role holder is also responsible for evaluating the efficiency of digital and E-marketing initiatives and provides recommendations to the senior management to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the development of digital strategies websites, mobile applications, etc., to drive brand awareness, consumer traffic and conversions.
  • Leads strategy and marketing execution for digital campaigns and product launches.
  • Evaluates and monitors the performance of digital and social marketing channels and campaigns to ensure operational effectiveness and enhancement.
  • Collaborates with E-commerce Merchandising function to optimize all messaging and tactics to drive sales and brand awareness.
  • Plans SEO, SEM, CRM, social media and display advertising campaigns.
  • Develops full digital marketing budget and forecasts and monitors monthly costs.
  • Grows the social media audience and maintains high levels of engagement and brand interest, with a focus on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, blogs, etc.
  • Oversees and analyses content to ensure accuracy and relevance prior to publishing on digital channels.
  • Presents findings from web trafficking tools and site statistics to the senior management and provides recommendations on future investments related to digital marketing.
  • Liaises with and evaluates agency and vendor recommendations on how to enhance user experience and develop strategies and tactics accordingly.
  • Ensures regular communication and collaboration with GMG business units and E-commerce functions to fulfil and address functional requirements by applying E-marketing and digital solutions.
  • Partners with the Information Technology Department to ensure system effectiveness and to define the technological direction to support the growth of E-marketing and digital channels.
  • Keeps abreast of latest digital marketing technologies and tools for the purpose of aligning it to current systems and controls.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business or related field.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience with at least 4-5 years in a similar role.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
  • A strong eye for design and the ability to develop engaging marketing content.
  • Ability to interpret data, track campaign performance, and optimize strategies based on insights.
  • Ensuring accuracy and consistency across all marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for effective collaboration and content creation.
  • Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles to enhance online visibility and engagement.
  • Possess good attitude, result oriented and a team player.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently.
