Job Responsibilities

1) Group Corporate Planning Initiatives Management

  • Develop and maintain a yearly list of key strategic initiatives.
  • Initiates and coordinates the development of the annual Group Business Plan and Budget.
  • Coordinate and collaborate across the organization to contribute to the development of business strategies/plans.
  • Partner with all business divisions to ensure strategic business cases and plans are robust and aligned to the overall Group’s business goals.
  • Help facilitate decision-making during discussions and coordinate follow-through on important takeaway items.
  • Analysis and presentation of data related to strategy execution to support Senior Management and Board decision making.
  • Participate in financial analysis, developing potential new investments, ventures and business relationships.
  • Provide senior management with concise reporting and insightful analysis.
  • Evaluation of business ideas/investments.
  • Competitors analysis and benchmark.
  • Reconcile top-down & bottom-up department plans to division plans.
  • Provide advice/recommendations that promote investors’ confidence while taking into consideration enterprise-wide risks, meet rules and regulations, financial viability, and align to the Group’s business objectives.

2) Investor Relations Management

  • Organisation of roadshows and press briefings on financial results.
  • Undertake tasks that involve interpreting and analyzing data related to the Group that may affect shareholders.
  • Responsible for building financial valuation and creating financial models to form a view on the company’s share price.
  • Information preparation such as annual reports and corporate profiles involve consolidating relevant material based on the need of the user.
  • Creation and/or upkeep of the Group's information database.

3) Project Management and Corporate Exercise

  • Provides professional advice on economic analysis and other studies for all corporate projects and activities within the Group.
  • Drive the Group’s corporate exercises and funding.
  • Develop financial models for forecasting and project analysis.
  • Well-versed with existing and new rules relating to corporate exercises.
  • Manage other special projects that are assigned.

4) Staff Development and Engagement

  • Monitor staff performance, development plan, discipline and performance matters/issues.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, mentoring to direct reports and clear communication of strategies to all staff within Group Corporate Planning.
  • Provide leadership by creating a collaborative, innovative, results-orientated environment.
  • Ensure high quality work that is well thought out, accurate and strategic.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in Corporate Finance / Audit.
  • Knowledge of Finance, Communications, Marketing and Securities Law compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills and thought process.
  • Strong relationship management and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem solving, decision quality, planning & priority setting.
  • In-depth Financial and Business Acumen.
