Key Responsibilities

• Design, propose, manage and implement Sunway Healthcare Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) framework and programmes to ensure consistency and effectiveness across its subsidiaries.
• To promote SHG and its subsidiaries’ core services, (e.g. cancer speciality, paediatrics, etc), as well as to ensure an effective integration of the CSR activities into our communications strategy.
• Develop, analyse and evaluate the impact, resource requirements and cost/benefit of new programmes.
• Develop strategies and materials for the communication of CSR initiatives to all internal and external audiences, ensuring overall messaging consistency across business units and throughout corporate communications.

External Engagement

• Work collaboratively with Sunway Group Brand Marketing & Communications (GBMC) and/or other Sunway Business Units/Divisions to support their CSR strategy and implement initiatives, and/or submission of reports, etc.
• Liaise with a range of external stakeholders, organising relevant events / campaigns in the effort of sharing the messages to the community.
• Identify and engage with external collaborators, i.e. government bodies, NGOs, corporates, etc. toward the success of a CSR project.
• Develop and manage new and existing external partnerships with collaborating institutions.

Events

• Coordinate and manage events, tours and exhibition-related activities e.g. launches, VIP visits and tours, booths and exhibitions, etc.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, volunteers, community partners and interns when applicable.
• Assist with Branding and PR projects and campaigns and provide input as and when needed.

Job Requirements

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree qualification
• At least 7 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Corporate Affairs, or Sustainability or CSR positions
• Preferably having knowledge in areas of Communications, Sustainability, Events, and CSR
• Strong expertise in managing relationships, networks and private sectors, community-based organizations, NGOs as well as programme beneficiaries.
• Ability to seek out, understand and incorporate feedback from the underserved communities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to distill complex information into simple messages and concise communication materials, tailored for the audience.
• Knowledge of the rules and regulations governing Charities, IPCs (Institutions of Public Character), best practices for CSR will be an advantage.
