KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develop a skilled and competent workforce among Sarawak Energy's vendors, ensuring Contractor Capability Building initiatives align with organizational objectives and long-term workforce development goals.
- Roll-out structured training programs to ensure effective delivery to accelerate the technical skills, competency and capacity development.
- Drive continuous engagement with procuring departments to ensure compliance with relevant policies and requirements and maximize opportunities for local companies in SEB tenders.
- Review and conduct benchmarking against industry and best practices for continuous improvement.
- Manage Vendor Development Programs, monitor the progress of development plans, and assess and recommend improvements to enhance the performance of participating vendors.
- Manage vendor performance during project implementation, ensuring consistent monitoring of performance and quality of work across all projects.
- Establish strategic frameworks, roadmaps, and action plans to support the continuous development and empowerment of local vendors in alignment with organization's goals.
QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree from Universities and Institution of higher learning with at least 10 years related working experience relating to procurement practices, experience in developing procurement.

- Managing internal and external stakeholders i.e. Asset Owners, Government Agencies, and Vendors.
