We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead our training and development initiatives across the organization. The person will focus on developing our sales team and enhancing their skills to succeed in a competitive market as well as managing non-sales teams’ development needs.

The person will also integrate innovative technologies and methodologies into all related training processes, foster a culture of adaptability and growth. Additionally, he/she will drive Digital Transformation through targeted training initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

Learning Partnership: Serve as a strategic learning partner by cultivating strong relationships with the leadership team to ensure training initiatives are effectively aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Continuous Learning Culture: Champion and instill a culture of continuous learning across the organization, encourage personal and professional growth at all levels.
  • Curriculum Management: Oversee the development and management of a comprehensive training curriculum, create engaging modules for new hire onboarding as well as tailored ongoing training programs for experienced sales team.
  • Content Development: Design training manuals and guides, create multimedia content such as videos and interactive presentations, and develop other learning aids to support the training program.
  • Organizational Design: Leverage expertise in organizational design to optimize training delivery and enhance overall training effectiveness.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Lead dynamic in-person and virtual workshops, facilitating interactive roleplay exercises and providing constructive coaching and feedback to sales staff to reinforce learning.
  • Training Effectiveness Evaluation: Track the effectiveness of training programs, identify areas for improvement, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff.
  • Coaching and Feedback: Conduct regular coaching sessions, offering constructive feedback on sales calls and presentations to enhance performance.
  • Third Party Collaboration: Build and manage relationships with third-party training providers, ensuring all training modules are aligned with organization’s goals and deliver measurable results.
  • Ad-hoc Support: Take on additional tasks and projects as requested by superiors, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to organizational success.

Communication: Listens actively to understand conveyed message and responds appropriately using effective verbal and non-verbal communication.

Change Management: Strives to be a change leader who effectively understands the reason for change, the impact of the change and the resistance to change. Guides team through change using consistent communication, strong empathy and effectively manages all concerns raised by impacted team members.

Team Engagement and Motivation: Motivates team through regular team building activities, learning activities and one-on-one engagements. Also motivates team by consistent recognition of team/individual achievements (formal/informal/written/verbal).

Coaching and Feedback: Develops team for high performance and growth through periodic, structured coaching and feedback that is based on the employee's individual development plan.

Organizing & Planning: Organizes and plans work systematically to deliver results at optimal cost, time, effort and resources. Avoids any losses caused due to lack of effective organizing and planning.

Collaboration and Teamwork: Is a team player who builds collaborative relationships within the team and between different teams to maximize productivity, reduce redundancies and reduce conflicts.

Innovation and Creativity: Uses creative thinking and latest technology/tools to innovate and implement feasible ideas that deliver results more effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management/Computer Science/Information Technology.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in conducting corporate training program or a similar role in-house.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and program evaluation.
  • Possess strong knowledge in financial services industry will be a valuable advantage.
  • Experience collaborating with international counterparts is a plus.
  • Train the Trainer Certified is an advantage.
