Manager, Capacity Planning

We are looking for an entrepreneur-minded, analytical, and meticulous Capacity Manager. As a Capacity Manager, you will be working with a team of 2-5.

You will fit perfectly if you enjoy managing the business like your own, deep diving into data and processes to make sense of things, and maintaining a bird's-eye view of the business. Having strong people skills will also help you manage your team and the stakeholders around you.

A DAY IN A LIFE

As a startup, you can expect your days to be varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve:

1. Identifying the key revenue drivers of our business by sector and available capacity (both by point-to-point or flythru opportunities);
2. Preplanning ahead to forecast demand on our available flights;
3. Proactively responding to unpredictable situations affecting our ability to carry cargo as planned;
4. Performing the planning function in coordination with the CTO operator, to ensure the build-up process will transport all (or more) of the cargo booked on each flight;
5. Finding clever ways to route cargo through our network and partners’ network (interline arrangements) to the intended destination, including a network algorithm plan to clearly identify available capacity, routing, and delivery time;
6. Working closely with the airline’s network team for cost, flight induction (additional capacity, new routes, etc.);
7. Ensuring data accuracy of flights and cargo that is transported with us.

Minimum Requirements

1. 6-8 years of experience in Airline Capacity Planning. Knowledge of A330 & A320 capacity would be an added advantage. Ability to understand both pax and freighter flight cargo planning models.
2. In-depth understanding of the Cargo Planning Processes and the ability to establish the process framework for the team.
3. Experience in managing a team of at least 5-6 members.
4. Knowledgeable in the usage of cargo management systems.
5. Data-oriented person.
