Functional (job responsibilities)
- Work with management to develop and implement business development strategy for a defined scope
- Coordinate with management and clients to identify business development opportunities with new and existing clients
- Work with the team to achieve short term and long-term customer and business growth
- Update and maintain customer information database on a regular basis
- Write and pitch bids and proposals to potential clients
- Guide, train and motivate sales teams to meet and exceed sales performance targets
- Travel to customer sites and attend customer meetings to promote company's products and services
- Establish strong relationship with customers and sales teams
- Conduct market competitive analysis to develop roadmap and sales strategy to secure new business
- Work on developing marketing campaigns and promotional programs, where applicable
Drive sales teams efficiency:
- Oversee day-to-day business activities and support for Community Deposit Specialist, including management of leads generation and programs execution.
- Improve business programs, process flow and policies for Community Deposit Specialist Team
- Negotiate and approve agreement with internal & external stakeholders for business program.
- Conduct internal briefing and update on the changes on business guidelines, new promotion and regulations.
- Work with branches to ensure good customer service and good client relationships
- Provide administrative support to Community Deposit Specialist, and Biz Channels Management
- Involved in the account application process and provide daily sales update and any track record by CDS
Additional Responsibilities:
- Collect and input, analyze and present business data for business review purpose
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in full compliance with guidelines and regulations
- Identify and support recruitment of new partners under HLB@Work, partnership program & HLB@School.
- Coordinate and facilitate resources to ensure customers are served promptly (ie. Appointments, road shows, and operations arrangement matters)
- Educate and communicate with PFS Branch, BCB and SME about latest product and service offering
- Develop positive working relationship with partners to build business including Branch
- Develop & execute payroll accounts acquisition strategies under HLB@Work
- Support business development by engaging existing and new clients of the bank; ie BCB, Merchant and SME.
- Facilitate excellent rapport, support and loyalty with internal and external partners
- Stay current with latest market developments and competitor activities
- Analyze market trends and develop sales plans accordingly for HLB@Work & HLB@School.
Organizational (organizational responsibilities)
- Champion the Bank's Deposit roadmap and delivery both internally and externally
- Continuous effort to improve business in support of building brand awareness and improving customer experience.
Requirements
- Degree Holder is an added advantage
- At least 3 years relevant work experience in retail banking, especially in the areas of partnership, sales, B2C enablement, internet/online banking implementation/business/product development or sales/project management.
- Possess experience in B2C and/or Online Banking Operations or Product development or Sales Management or Merchant Partnership will be an added advantage.
- Ability to quickly build, manage and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders particularly where they have differing requirements demands and measures of success, and achieving effective ways forward.
- Collaborative approach and comfortable working in a dynamic team environment, including tight interaction with the business development, product, technology, operations, compliance and legal teams to manage multiple stakeholders with complex and competing objectives.
- Ability to co-ordinate and support commercial negotiations with multiple third-parties.
