• Responsible for the planning, organizing and controlling of the production plan and operation
• Establish and maintain procedures to ensure compliance with CGMP
• Ensure inventory and assets management, including timely replenishment and waste control.
• Author, lead or adopt new open-source technologies to the organization
• Manage internal stakeholder relationships through regular meetings and liaise with other departments.
• Own the development and adoption of government regulations related to GMP and safety audits and inspections.
• Manage resources within pre-defined budget and timelines, adapting as company priorities change.
• Responsible for report submissions such as KPI, Supply vs. Commit, Commit vs. Demand.
• Develop and adopt continuous improvement projects (OEE/lean management/TPM/etc.).
• Participate in developing and administrating capital and major production budgets (Opex and Capex).
• Involve in and approve product costing based on standard manpower utilization and overheads.
• Monitor and maintain optimum operation levels of machines/equipment, improving productivity as needed.
• Ensure manufacturing processes meet all quality standards and health and safety regulations.
• Installation & Equipment Qualifications - Ensure successful Design, Equipment, Installation, Operational and Performance qualification on equipment & facilities.
• Manage day-to-day operations of multidisciplinary projects to ensure performance within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Supervise and monitor performance of production team members and lead projects.
• Coordinate activities within manufacturing and quality departments to manage production schedules ensuring high quality and safety standards.
• Communicate with all relevant inter-company contacts; provide adequate information, consult appropriate persons in case of problems and contribute to decision-making processes.
• Set up and manage production files in accordance with company SOPs and policies, ensuring readiness for audits.
• Manage the product plan and provide creative solutions to achieve targets.
• Monitor time & action calendars, communicate upcoming due dates and follow up on key deliverables.
• Dosage form handled (priority) - Tablet/capsule (OSD) manufacturing and packing.

It has an independent Quality Unit to ensure the safety, identity, strength, purity, and quality of the products. The unit also has a Technology Development Laboratory equipped with linear scale smaller capacity manufacturing equipment to consistently deliver products with the intended quality attributes.
