Management Trainees (Engineering) - Car Assembly Plant, Alor Gajah, Melaka

We are looking for ambitious Engineering Management Trainees to join our car assembly plant in Melaka. This structured training program is designed to develop future engineering leaders in automotive manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undergo structured training across key engineering functions such as Production, Quality, Maintenance and Logistics.
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical challenges to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Assist in implementing process improvements and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and support daily engineering operations.
• Prepare reports and technical documentation in Chinese and English for stakeholder communication.
• Monitor production and equipment performance, identifying areas for optimization.
• Participate in problem-solving activities to reduce defects, downtime and inefficiencies.
• Learn and apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
• Support new model introduction and process validation activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on technical matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related fields).
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in writing, reading and speaking Chinese and English (to liaise with stakeholders from China).
• Willing to work in Alor Gajah, Melaka and adapt to a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
• Passionate about automotive engineering and eager to learn.
