Management Trainee (Engineer)

Job Responsibility

Project Planning & Scheduling

1. Assisting in the development of project timelines, milestones, and deadlines.
2. Learning to prepare construction schedules and monitor progress.

Site Supervision

1. Assisting site managers in overseeing daily construction activities.
2. Ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed according to specifications.

Cost Estimation & Budgeting

1. Supporting in preparing cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
2. Monitoring project budgets and ensuring expenses align with project goals.

Quality Control

1. Assisting in inspecting work to ensure it meets quality standards and project requirements.
2. Reporting any defects or issues to senior management.

Procurement & Resource Management

1. Helping with ordering materials and coordinating deliveries.
2. Managing inventory of materials and equipment on-site.

Compliance & Documentation

1. Ensuring projects comply with legal and safety regulations.
2. Maintaining records such as project reports, safety documentation, and progress updates.

Client Communication

1. Assisting in communicating with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
2. Attending meetings with senior management to discuss project progress.

Learning & Development

1. Engaging in training programs to understand various construction processes, project management tools, and software.
2. Shadowing experienced managers to gain hands-on experience in project execution.

Job Requirements

1. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is an added advantage.
2. Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
3. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

5. Available to travel and outstation.
