About the role
We are looking for an experienced Mall Fit-out and Facilities Executive to join our team at Pinnacle Homes Groups of Companies, a leading property development company in the nation. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the fit-out and facilities management of our mall properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meeting the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and coordinate the fit-out and refurbishment of our mall properties
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our mall facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
- Coordinate and resolve complaints raised by tenants/retailers at all times
- Attend all fit-out & facilities meetings with tenants
- Attend to tenants' Fit-Out work requirements including approving, supervising and ensuring compliance
- Monitor and report on the performance and condition of mall facilities, identifying areas for improvement
- Monitor and ensure the renovation/servicing/rectification works by tenants/retailers’ external contractors are in accordance with the policies, procedures and direction set by the Company
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Preparation of standard fit-out manual for contractors
- Conduct regular checks and ensure cleanliness at all operational areas of Pinnacle Mall facilities are maintained at all times and are adequately lighted
- Collaborate with the property management team to enhance the overall customer experience
- Provide support and guidance to the facilities management team, mentoring and developing their skills
- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the authorised personnel of the company from time to time
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mall development/facilities management, with a focus on shopping mall properties
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in drafting experience with strong analytical skills of working experience in mall management operations & facilities or a related field involving project planning and development. Other relevant fields are welcome to apply
- Possess at least Diploma/ Degree in Engineering/Architecture/Facilities Management/Project Management or equivalent
- Proficient in written and spoken English, Bahasa Malay and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. Ability to communicate local dialects with all levels of stakeholders internally/externally would be an added advantage
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Proven track record of managing and coordinating contractors and vendors
- Familiarity with relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Being moderately able to understand and read architectural drawings
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to work under minimum supervision with a strong sense of responsibility
- Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Good interpersonal and effective communication skills including verbal and written communication with authorities, consultants, contractors and stakeholders
- Collaboration and teamwork abilities
- Must have determination to learn and work
- Possess own transportation will be preferable
- Able to work for long periods of time, weekends and public holidays
