Job description

For our branch in PENANG, Malaysia, we are currently recruiting a

SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities

  1. Identifying and acquiring new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing accounts.
  2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
  3. Conducting sales calls and client visits to drive business growth.
  4. Engaging with potential customers and preparing tailored quotations and proposals.
  5. Managing daily customer inquiries, processing orders, and handling in-house system data entry.
  6. Maintaining regular communication with clients to strengthen relationships and enhance customer satisfaction.
  7. Actively promoting company services and participating in sales and marketing activities.
  8. Keeping customers informed about company updates, new products, pricing, policies, and operational changes.
  9. Compiling and presenting weekly and monthly sales reports.
  10. Researching and analyzing market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities.
  11. Monitoring and analyzing data to track performance and market trends.
  12. Assisting in the preparation of periodic KPI reports.
  13. Collaborating with operations teams to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
  14. Travelling as and when required for overseas business trips and events.
  15. Any other related functions to shipments coordination and ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.

Required Experience, Knowledge And Skills

  1. Minimum Diploma preferably in logistics, supply chain or business studies.
  2. Knowledge in CCN/ Customs Regulations.
  3. Knowledge in Valuable Cargo.
  4. Experience in international cargo movement, freight forwarding, or logistics industry.
  5. At least 2 year’s relevant experience.
  6. Proficient in spoken and written English.
  7. Service focused and customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  8. Self-driven, analytical and able to perform with minimal supervision.
  9. Equally motivated by working independently as well as collaborating in a team.
  10. Cheerful and pleasant disposition.
  11. Able to travel overseas.
