Maintenance Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and oversee the daily operations of Engineering Department.
• Responsible to strategize and provide guidance on the installation, testing, operations, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
• Lead the team to effectively maintain, repair, and install electrical/mechanical, hydraulic equipment, thermal energy, pneumatic and site services equipment.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with plans and schedules.
• Respond promptly to all breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Manage and organize the electrical/mechanical workshop to ensure safe and clean operations.
• Responsible for the installation of all line equipment, effectively supervise and liaise with external contractors on installation works as necessary.
• Ensure plant maintenance, plant modifications/improvements, and CAPEX projects are executed accordingly.
• Ensure the team adheres to company safety and environmental rules and regulations (DOE and DOSH) throughout the repair, maintenance, and completion of projects.
• Analyze and develop training programs to enhance the competency of engineers and technicians/fitters.
• Manage activities within budget and in a timely manner to achieve target KPI and safety.
• Ensure the safety and effective maintenance of the power distribution system.
• Competency in specifying the requirements for any electrical/mechanical parts and items.
• Liaison with TNB and SuruhanJaya Tenaga on all matters pertaining to the efficient operation of the factory.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Holding a certificate of competency as a Chargeman (A0 ~B4) would be an advantage.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field and managerial role.
• Hands-on experience in managing the Engineering or Site Services in a large manufacturing company.
• Experience in Siemens PLC and HMI Control, programming, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in Preventive Maintenance and Kaizen working environment.
• Knowledge in hydraulic, pneumatic, and machinery operation.
• Knowledge in CAD system (2D or 3D) will be an advantage.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and researching skills.
• Able to anticipate issues and identify resolutions in a timely manner.
• MUST be willing to relocate to Segamat, Johor.
