Maintenance Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Create long term preventive maintenance strategies that align with organizational goals and operational requirements.
• Design and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for equipment and machinery.
• Review work procedures and specifications.
• Observe and maintain ISO 9001 standards.
• Evaluate maintenance practices and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
• Develop and manage the preventive maintenance budget, including labor, materials, and spare parts.
• Allocate resources effectively to maximize maintenance efficiency and minimize operational costs.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining high standards of equipment reliability and safety.
• Conduct new CAPEX projects that affect the performance of preventive maintenance activities.
• Conduct post-performance analysis of completed projects.
• Communicate with related parties or government authorities regarding legal requirements.
• Conduct or provide training for staff to increase the performance of the section.
• Analyze and report on the integrity of plant equipment to related departments.
• Analyze and review equipment design.
• Knowledgeable in Non-Destructive Testing and other inspection methods.
• Communicate with other related departments and contractors regarding maintenance work scope.

What You Should Have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical/maintenance engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and engineering principles.
• Experience in project management and leading engineering teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with API, ASME, Risk Based Inspection Software, Vibration Analysis Software, Non-Destructive Testing, and Plant Equipment Maintenance.
