Maintenance / Facilities Engineer (Semiconductor / Pasir Gudang)

• Design and review electrical systems for new construction and expansion projects.
• Operate and maintain power systems, including substations and transformers.
• Update operation standards and annual maintenance plans for power systems.
• Analyze electrical consumption to improve efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and maintenance support to electrical technicians.

Equipment:

• Develop and improve equipment operation procedures and conduct training.
• Plan and execute annual and preventive maintenance for mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and document mechanical equipment issues.
• Optimize equipment performance and manage upgrades or improvements.
• Oversee equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning.
• Ensure economic procurement of spare parts.

HVAC:

• Design and support HVAC systems for industrial plants and clean rooms.
• Develop and update standardized operating procedures.
• Prepare and review maintenance plans and inspection lists.
• Provide technical support for HVAC operation and maintenance.
• Analyze equipment failures and provide effective solutions.
• Guide technicians on facility operations, inspections, and repairs.
• Implement energy-saving measures and ensure efficient operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and operation; experience in semiconductor plant power planning is a plus.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in Malay, English, and Mandarin, both spoken and written, is required to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of local electrical regulations and ability to read electrical drawings.
• Experience in factory construction and operation.
• Skilled in high and low voltage systems with the ability to resolve electrical issues independently.
• Must be willing to work in Pasir Gudang.
