Job description

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Executive is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of the management suite to ensure its facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role involves conducting inspections, supervising maintenance staff and vendors, managing repair schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections of the complex to identify maintenance needs and address potential issues proactively.
  • Oversee and coordinate repair, maintenance, and servicing of facilities, equipment, and systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
  • Ensure timely response to maintenance requests from tenants or management.
  • Supervise and coordinate work of maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors.
  • Source, evaluate, and recommend vendors for maintenance-related projects.
  • Monitor the quality of work performed by external service providers.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations, codes, and best practices.
  • Maintain documentation for inspections, repairs, and equipment servicing.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols for staff and tenants.
  • Assist in preparing maintenance budgets and track expenditures.
  • Maintain an inventory of necessary tools, equipment, and spare parts.
  • Propose cost-effective solutions to improve efficiency and reduce operational expenses.
  • Participate in planning and executing facility upgrades or renovation projects.
  • Provide input to enhance the complex’s infrastructure and aesthetics.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment servicing schedules, and compliance certifications.
  • Prepare reports for management on maintenance issues, costs, and improvement plans.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in maintenance or facility management.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance processes.
  • Ability to manage a team and coordinate with contractors.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and organizational abilities.
