Maintenance & Engineering Manager

• To oversee and manage nationwide maintenance, engineering, and project operations, ensuring optimal equipment reliability, plant efficiency, and adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• To lead the planning, execution, and management of engineering projects to support operational and business growth.
• Maintenance
• Develop and execute maintenance strategies to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.
• Lead and supervise local maintenance teams to ensure the effective implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Monitor and enforce safety standards, ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations.
• Manage maintenance budgets, cost control measures, and resource allocation.
• Ensure the timely repair and servicing of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Standardize maintenance procedures across all locations.
• Work closely with the production and operations teams to optimize plant reliability and efficiency.
• Project Management
• Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering and infrastructure projects across multiple facilities.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful completion.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage project requirements and deliverables.
• Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Develop and implement engineering best practices to improve operational efficiency, in coordination with efficiency department.
• Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies and automation solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and sustainability.
• Ensure engineering solutions align with long-term business objectives.
• Work with R&D, efficiency manager, and production teams to optimize process efficiency and product quality.

Your expertise - Our strength

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Or suitable experience in a similar position.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance, engineering, and project management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proven experience in leading maintenance teams, managing large-scale engineering projects, and optimizing plant operations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• High personal safety standards and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites effectively.
