As a Maintenance Engineer/Senior Engineer, you'll be responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery in industrial settings.
Job Responsibilities:
To conduct preventive maintenance (PM) plans and programs together with supervisor to ensure the smooth machine operation.
To prepare PM SOP for new machine installation.
To update/review master maintenance equipment planner.
Liaise with production and QA department to understand machine issues and plans for resources available to overcome and improve the conditions of the machine and equipment.
Make arrangements with relevant contractors/local vendors/OEMs to perform tasks and repairs which are beyond the capability of in housework.
To inspect and to ensure proper workmanship, materials and safety regulations are followed for any outsourced work. There should not be any compromise on GMP.
Ensure routine calibration and verification of the equipment are fulfilled without any failure. All calibration related works on site need to be verified.
Responsible for implementing and continually improving the effectiveness of the maintenance system.
To ensure all the change controls and other related documents are completed within the stipulated time.
To ensure that adequate facilities such as tools and instruments exist for the maintenance team.
To review and write the performance appraisal for all the subordinates.
To delegate supervisors/technician to attend major day to day breakdowns and identify root cause of the problem.
Work along with engineering team in project & new machine installation.
To support the implementation of improvement changes and innovation to the current methods, process, materials and equipment to meet Company’s various business objectives.
To support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering qualifications.
Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in equipment/machine maintenance, preferably in the Mechanical section, with a strong foundation in the pharmaceutical industry.
In-depth knowledge of Granulation, Mixing, Tableting, Coating, and Packing equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills for machines.
Solid understanding of preventive maintenance for equipment.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance (PM).
Proficient in writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Familiar with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
Good command of English.
Troubleshooting, problem solving, multi-tasking, mentoring and analytical skills.
