Maintenance Engineer

Venator Asia Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of Venator Materials PLC headquartered in the UK. Venator is a leading chemical company focused on the development and manufacture of Titanium dioxide pigments and performance additives.

Venator Asia Sdn Bhd is based at Teluk Kalong Industrial Estate in Kemaman, Terengganu. Our Manufacturing Plant is the only producer of Titanium Dioxide pigments in the Asia region.

The role of Maintenance Engineer will be based at our Plant at Teluk Kalong, Kemaman, Terengganu.

Responsibilities

1. All duties are to be carried out at all times in compliance with all Venator Corp. and Venator EHS, business conduct policies and guidelines.
2. Manage and monitor planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, manpower utilization, cost, and spare availability to minimize downtime and coach team members to perform in their current role and develop their capability to deliver agreed objectives as business situations change.
3. Manage worksite activities of in-house or contractors/vendors to ensure jobs are executed to requirements on time in full.
4. Provide assurance of critical equipment health in daily Tier meetings and ensure good governance of PM effectiveness.
5. Involve in scheduled meetings, maintain monthly submission of PSPC and workplace inspections as per requirements by EHSQ and PSM.
6. Use SAP systems, MS Project, FIS, and other company software to monitor equipment performance, work status, progress, planning, cost, and forecasting.
7. Ensure all team activities are delivered in line with Site and Business EHS standards communicated and applied to all work carried out by the team.
8. Effectively manage maintenance costs within the allocated budget annually.
9. Actively involve in the Manufacturing Improvement Program.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the Chemical manufacturing industry.
3. Able to learn with a growth mindset and a positive attitude.
4. Able to work under minimal supervision.
