Maintenance & Electrical Technician (Miri)

Responsibilities:

• Execute, coordinate, monitor and maintain the overall maintenance of the plant equipment and facilities, including pumps, motors, aerators, mixers and agitators, valves and piping, works, conveyors, etc.
• Assist in repairing and maintaining machines, equipment, and electrical systems.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Manage all preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and update accurate plant maintenance data and logs.
• Generate maintenance reports on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.
• Compile weekly maintenance reports for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
• Liaise with Administration for spare parts purchasing and stock keeping.
• Ensure that all calibrations and regulations governed by the Laws of Malaysia are adhered to.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or have relevant experience/skills.
• Preferably 2 years of hands-on working experience in maintenance of machinery and equipment; experience in wastewater maintenance is an added advantage.
• A team player with strong interpersonal skills, good working attitude, and communication skills, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in English and Malay, both spoken and written.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM1,600.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
