Mainframe Developer | Kuala Lumpur, MY

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with 6-9 years of experience in Mainframe development. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in CardLink or VisionPLUS development and be well-versed in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and VSAM. Knowledge of Easytrieve is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Development Activities: Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and work on development activities.
• Banking Concepts: Understand and implement banking concepts, with a preference for experience in cards.
• Acquiring Process: Must know the acquiring process.
• Scheduling Tools: Be knowledgeable in any scheduling tools.
• Compliance: Good to know about compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience in Mainframe development.
• Prior experience with CardLink or VisionPLUS development.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and VSAM.
• Knowledge of Easytrieve is a plus.
• Strong understanding of banking concepts, preferably in cards.
• Familiarity with the acquiring process.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in the banking and financial services industry is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
