Position Overview

The Machining and Mould Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our manufacturing processes. This position requires a versatile individual with expertise in operating various machining equipment and a strong aptitude for mould maintenance and repair. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining production efficiency by managing equipment repairs, processing spare parts, and ensuring the proper functioning of moulds used in our manufacturing operations. Collaboration with other teams and adherence to safety standards are key aspects of this role, making it integral to our overall operational success.

Job Description:

1. Perform maintenance on common factory equipment and process spare parts and components as needed.
2. Handle mould maintenance tasks, including adjustments, basic repairs, part replacements, and routine servicing.
3. Support other departments by assisting with machining tasks during periods of low demand for mould maintenance.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production continuity and address equipment or mould-related issues promptly.
5. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
6. Experienced candidates will lead teams to optimize departmental efficiency.

Job Requirements:

Work Experience:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in machining operations, including proficiency with lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, and drilling machines.
2. Proven experience in mould maintenance, especially in mold adjustment and repair such as stamping, rivet-welding, and welding mesh.
3. Familiarity with fast-wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) equipment is highly advantageous.

Age Requirement:

Candidates should be 26-45 years old, physically fit, with a good work ethic and no undesirable habits.

Skills:

1. Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is preferred.
2. Capability to read and interpret mechanical CAD drawings and knowledge of standard machining processes.
3. Proficiency in using mould maintenance tools and operating equipment such as milling machines and grinding machines for repair and maintenance.
4. Strong focus on safety practices and effective teamwork.
