M&E Engineer (with Quantity Surveying Expertise)

Job Description

1. Understanding the requirement of MEP tender document
2. Attend site survey, tender briefing before tendering the project
3. Prepare cost analysis and obtaining contractor’s quotation for various trade, quantity take-off for tenders and submissions, including Bill of Quantity
4. Prepare tender submissions including bills of quantities and discuss with Management for final submission
5. Prepare for final submission and follow up with tender questionnaire reply and interview
6. Assist in project procurement and sourcing of contractor
7. Provide technical advice and resolve M&E technical issues on site
8. Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned

Job Requirement

1. Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building or equivalent relevant qualification
2. At least 3 years of relevant industry experience. In the interior design & build industry or M&E Consulting firm is an added advantage
3. Knowledge in design and building project and relevant code of practice
4. Able to read, understand, review and comment on mechanical and/or electrical tender drawings
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other M&E Software
6. Outgoing with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Ability to interact effectively with project members and managers at all levels.
