Logistics Operation Coordinator

• Position: Logistics Operations Coordinator, based in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
• Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate logistics operations & shipment, including land trucking, sea freight, and air freight.
2. Be a part of operations back-end support team for transportation & freight operations.
3. Coordinate with relevant parties, customers, own teams, drivers, and operators to ensure smooth operations.
4. Communicate and update clients, vendors, and forwarders regarding all logistics aspects of shipment updates.
5. Monitor and manage all relevant operations, including cargo movement.
6. Sourcing of rates from vendors and vendor management.
7. Ensure all supporting documents, POs, SOs, and quotations are in order for job closing and invoicing on time.
8. Close jobs in systems after completion and invoice on time, as per KPI.

Requirements:

• Open to all races and genders.
• Diploma or Degree in relevant fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in land transportation and freight operations.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging requirements from customers.
• High degree of confidentiality; innovative and creative person.
• Able to multi-task and handle a wide spectrum of responsibilities.
• Possess MS Office skills.
• Able to converse in English and Malay.
• Shift work can be arranged upon request.
