Responsibilities

• To monitor and supervise export deliveries.
• To monitor export shipping documents for customers or bank submission for LC negotiation.
• To solve problems arising from transshipment/production delay or transportation pertaining to export deliveries.
• To source for competent freight forwarder agents/transporter to handle export shipment.

Negotiation

• To negotiate competitive rate with freight forwarder agents for both sea and air shipment; quality of service and vessel/flight schedule are also consideration points.

Insurance Arrangement

• To ensure marine insurance coverage for outbound finished goods.
• To trace policy insurance and check premium.

Verifying Billing

• To ensure all the charges in billed are correct and follow quote.
• To send documents to finance for the payment after double check by HOD.

Compliance

Perform and carry out job functions in accordance with SOP and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices (GDPMD).

Job Requirements

• At least Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Business Studies/Administration/Management from recognized tertiary institutes.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Logistics and Supply Chain activities.
• Knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures and international shipping practices.
• Required skills: Communication skills (both verbal & written), Leadership skills, Organization and Prioritization skills, Problem-solving skills, Time Management skills, Computer literacy.
• Able to motivate teams with a positive “can do” attitude and commit overtime when needed.
• Responsible, capable, reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
