Being a high growth electronics company, we are looking for a candidate who will be a passionate strong self-starter to manage our logistics operations in Malaysia.

This individual will help us co-ordinate daily logistic requirements, gather operational data for report generation and contribute ideas in current process optimization. The candidate will be experiencing the breath-taking pace of high growth start-up journey. The individual will be part of PRISM+ Malaysia team and will report to the local Operations Manager.

Responsibilities of a Logistics Coordinator include but are not limited to:

  • Data processing of day-to-day logistics arrangements and liaison.
  • Account for daily failed or defective delivery.
  • Responsible for management of Logistics system.
  • Updating master datafile of successful deliveries for archiving and record purposes.
  • Daily reporting on cost per delivery and cost savings.
  • Strive to achieve target of T+1 days delivery for majority of the orders.
  • Manage delivery vehicles scheduled maintenances, Insurance & Road Tax.
  • Arrange & facilitate all regulatory inspections (e.g. Puspakom, JPJ, etc.).
  • Month end timely submission of drivers' Incentives & Overtime accordingly.
  • Manage, scrutinize & approve all drivers' claims.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Customer Interaction:

  • Contact customers to schedule delivery timeslot (phone/message/email).
  • Ensure all orders for the day are delivered successfully.
  • Follow-up with drivers on delivery status.
  • Re-connect with customers to reschedule a new date and timeslot for delivery.
  • Precise and effective scheduling of deliveries to all drivers.
  • Ensuring all required fields are checked and accurate upon delivery (e.g. Proof of delivery).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in any relevant discipline with SPM credit in Mathematics and English.
  • At least 1 year of working experience. Handling drivers directly will be an advantage.
  • 5.5 work day week (Mon to Fri: 8:30AM - 6PM, & Sat: 8:30AM till 12:30noon).
  • Proficient in writing and speaking in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel - Pivot, Vlookup, etc.).
  • Attention to detail, disciplined and process-oriented with a high sense of urgency.
