Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to manage and optimize our third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in monitoring and improving supply chain processes, ensuring the efficient operation of the 3PL warehouse, and maintaining strong relationships with our logistics partners. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage inventory, track shipments, and analyse performance metrics to enhance service levels and reduce operational costs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. 3PL Warehouse Management: Oversee day-to-day activities of the 3PL warehouse, ensuring that operations meet performance standards, cost effective and customer expectations.
  2. Inventory Management: Monitor and track inventory levels in the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timely restocking. Coordinate with the 3PL provider to resolve discrepancies and manage stock levels effectively.
  3. Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to warehouse performance, including order fulfilment, shipping accuracy, and inventory turnover. Provide actionable insights and generate reports for senior management.
  4. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize warehouse workflows. Collaborate with the 3PL provider to improve service levels and customer satisfaction.
  5. Shipping & Receiving Coordination: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers. Work with the 3PL warehouse to ensure proper handling and storage of products.
  6. Vendor & Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for 3PL providers. Manage the relationship with the logistics partner, ensuring clear communication, resolution of issues, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  7. Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all warehouse operations are compliant with regulatory requirements and safety standards. Work with 3PL to enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  8. Performance Metrics & KPIs: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the 3PL warehouse. Report on warehouse performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations, preferably with experience managing 3PL relationships.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  4. Proficient in using logistics software, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Excel.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and vendors.
  6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  7. Knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practices, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and distribution.
  8. Experience with 3PL systems and platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar WMS.
  9. Certification in logistics, supply chain management (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma), or related fields.
  10. Familiarity with international shipping regulations and global logistics practices.
