Logistic Executive - Freight Forwarding

• Able to work in rotation shift and night shift (will entitle for night shift allowance)

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with internal operations to meet customer’s requirements
• Liaise with internal and external parties
• Prepare documentation (such as Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, COA, COO, Insurance, Application for Collection, Bank Draft etc)
• Perform SAP transactions (PGI / FD / Billing)
• LC Vetting based on standard LC guidelines
• Ensure compliance with Customers’ Standard Operating Procedures
• Proofreading of BL drafts & Approval of BL drafts to Carriers
• Request amendments of BL drafts to Carriers (if any)
• Arrange booking of ocean vessels and drayage for export containers and update systems accordingly
• Shipment status tracking and monitoring: continuously monitor the export shipment and report irregularities
• Accurately update the schedule
• Read e-mails several times daily and reply to all emails daily
• Commit to get orders completed in compliance with KPI. Take all possible action to complete orders and log corresponding Non-Conformances if third parties are preventing order completion within KPI

Job Requirements:

• Available to work on Public Holidays if required (overtime/off in lieu (replacement leave) will be given)
• Prior experience with documentation preparation and booking would be advantageous
• Prior experience with SAP would be advantageous
• Ability to prioritize work, well organized and good coordination
• Good communication skills and proficiency in English
• Able to start within short notice will be an advantage
