Get to Know the Role

You will report to the Head, Lending Operations & Collections. We are looking for someone with an analytical and transformative mindset to be part of Grab Financial Group. You will support the following operational tasks, working with teams within Grab and external partners, and be passionate about process improvement and optimization.

This role is based in Petaling Jaya and requires onsite work.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will execute and monitor daily operations, from manual data input to monitoring system stability. This includes:

1. Onboarding new Lending Partners
2. Managing invoice submission
3. Preparing and ensuring disbursement is within Service Level Agreement
4. Managing repayment process
5. Preparing monthly reporting

• You will have a clear understanding of operations processes, be able to integrate the processes into one big picture, and grasp complex issues quickly. You are required to work with a dynamic team.
• You will create, own, review, and enhance standard operating procedures for new and existing products.
• You will manage operations issues as they arise, investigating and working with teams including Product and Engineering to ensure resolution delivery.
• You will support new product initiatives, which includes:

1. Highlighting potential areas of enhancement/weakness in operations processes that may hinder product sustainability
2. Performing and validating UAT results
3. Ensuring deliverables from the operations team

• You will manage continuous improvement initiatives and ideate process optimization for overall lending operations to achieve greater operational efficiency.
• You will work with business stakeholders for alignment and will be involved in multiple teams spanning across product, operations, research, analytics, and country marketing leads.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• 3+ years in a similar role. Bachelor’s degree in business/management or equivalent required.
• Experience in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Information Systems (related to programming or operations).
• Knowledge of Zoho, SQL, Python, web languages (HTML coding, APIs), Microsoft BI, Google Script, or any scripting language.
• Work experience in or familiarity with audit, e-ecommerce, FinTech, or F&B.
• Experience in continuous improvement and project management roles.
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives.
