Legal Executive / Senior Legal Executive

Responsible for managing the company’s legal, compliance, and governance framework. The role involves managing contracts, mitigating risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving integrity and ethical practices within the organisation.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Draft, review, and manage contracts and legal documents.
2. Handle litigation, arbitration, and liaise with external counsel.
3. Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks in transactions and commitments.
4. Ensure accurate documentation, signing, and safekeeping of legal records.
5. Provide legal advice on corporate affairs and governance matters.
6. Monitor legal and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
7. Lead integrity and governance initiatives to uphold ethical standards.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in law (LLB) with minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Good understanding of legal aspects of corporate and commercial matters.
• Possess litigation experience, drafting and negotiating contracts/agreements, commercial contracts & dispute resolution.
• Able to work independently and have a strong commitment to ensure corporate/legal compliance and timely delivery of quality work.
• Ability to perform in-depth reviews and understand the company’s business framework to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and to effectively progress commercial transactions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of people.
• Highly proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• The vacancy is either for Senior Executive / Executive position depending on suitability, qualification, and experience.
