Job Responsibilities

• Attending to inquiries and advising clients on intellectual property-related matters involving trademarks, patents, industrial designs, and copyrights.
• Handling Malaysia and international intellectual property applications including liaising with foreign associates and preparing documents associated with filing and prosecution of intellectual property both locally and internationally.
• Monitoring application status.
• Attending ex-parte hearings and liaising with the relevant authority.
• Ensuring all IP matters are processed and handled in a timely and efficient manner to comply with relevant deadlines and regulations.
• Providing training sessions and public seminars to clients and foreign associates.

Job Requirements

• Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law/Science.
• Prior experience in IP is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good command of English and Malay. Proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
• Strong sense of responsibility and initiative. Can work independently.
