Job Responsibilities
Attending to inquiries and advising clients on intellectual property-related matters involving trademarks, patents, industrial designs, and copyrights.
Handling Malaysia and international intellectual property applications including liaising with foreign associates and preparing documents associated with filing and prosecution of intellectual property both locally and internationally.
Monitoring application status.
Attending ex-parte hearings and liaising with the relevant authority.
Ensuring all IP matters are processed and handled in a timely and efficient manner to comply with relevant deadlines and regulations.
Providing training sessions and public seminars to clients and foreign associates.
Job Requirements
Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law/Science.
Prior experience in IP is preferred.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Good command of English and Malay. Proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
Strong sense of responsibility and initiative. Can work independently.
