Responsibilities:

• To undertake drafting and reviewing of documents and contracts and liaise with external solicitors.
• To assist all legal matters relating to land conveyance, tenancy, application to local authorities, etc.
• To ensure proper execution of contracts, agreements and legal documents by the correct authorized personnel.
• Conduct legal research and monitor changes in applicable law as well as provide recommendations to Management for compliance.
• Provide effective support and assistance to Legal Department.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports of key and significant legal matters, for the HOD’s submission and presentation for weekly meeting.
• Generally assisting in attending to and solving legal issues that may arise from time to time.
• To attend to all required and identified legal matters and ensure company interests are at all times protected.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in litigation would be an added advantage.
• Independent and able to work under pressure in a multitasking environment.
• Responsible, meticulous, and possess a good working attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Able to speak and write in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
