Provide legal advice & assistance to the company in all legal, operational and contractual matters.
Review and draft contracts.
Conduct legal research and keep abreast of all applicable laws relating to the company’s operations and advise accordingly to coincide with any appropriate subsequent legal changes.
Manage litigation files.
Liaise with fellow professionals on behalf of JCL, e.g. lawyers, auditors, and government officers.
Assist/lead in conducting legal awareness study group sessions and drafting standard operating procedures for regulatory compliance.
Conduct regular internal audits to ensure all procedures are in accordance with the up-to-date regulations.
Organise and maintain all legal and audit correspondence appropriately.
